Named to Can-Am First All-Star team in 1935-36 while playing with Rangers affiliate in Philadelphia. ... Named to AHL First All-Star team in 1938-39 while playing for Rangers` affiliate in Philadelphia. ... Named to AHL Second All-Star team in 1939-40 while playing for Rangers` affiliates in Philadelphia and New Haven. ... Became Rangers` No. 1 goaltender in relief of Dave Kerr, who was injured during 1939 playoffs.
