NOTES One of only two players in Rangers history to play his first game for the Blueshirts in the Stanley Cup Finals, Miller was the emergency replacement for injured Lorne Chabot in 1928. Prior to obtaining Miller on loan from the New York Americans, Rangers coach Lester Patrick was forced to tend goal himself for the balance of Game 2. Miller started Games 3-5 and went 2-1 to secure the championship.
