Tonight's Game

The Rangers will complete their back-to-back set when they face-off against the New Jersey Devils tonight at Prudential Center (7:00 p.m.), in an Atlantic Division matchup. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and rank ninth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 14-12-2 (30 pts). The Rangers enter the contest having defeated the Carolina Hurricanes, 2-1, in the shootout last night at Madison Square Garden, to improve to 3-1-0 (2-0-0 at home) in the first game of back-to-back sets. The Blueshirts have posted a combined record of 3-4-0 in back-to-back games this season, including an 0-3-0 (0-1-0 on the road) record in the second game. The Devils enter the contest with a 13-10-6 (32 pts) record to rank eighth in the Eastern Conference, and have lost their last two games. Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will return to action when they face-off against the Florida Panthers on Thursday, Mar. 21, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in the first of two consecutive games at MSG against Southeast Division opponents.
