Chad Johnson, a 2006 fourth-round pick who recently completed his college career at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and was a Hobey Baker Award nominee. The No. 151 overall pick in the fifth round had originally belonged to the Penguins but had come to the Rangers through Toronto as part of last year's Ryan Hollweg trade.
