Rangers Reassign 12 Players To Hartford
New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has reassigned the following 12 players to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

The Rangers now have 39 players remaining in training camp, including four goaltenders, 14 defensemen and 21 forwards. The Blueshirts open their exhibition schedule on Friday, when the team hosts the New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden.

PLAYERS REASSIGNED TO HARTFORD ON 9/18/07
Goaltenders -- Chris Holt and Matt Zaba
Defense -- Clayton Barthel, Corey Potter and Jake Taylor.
Forwards -- Joe Barnes, Alex Bourret, Brodie Dupont, Mitch Fritz, Bruce Graham, Greg Moore and Jordan Owens.

PLAYERS STILL IN TRAINING CAMP
Goaltenders -- Henrik Lundqvist, Al Montoya, Steve Valiquette, and Miika Wiikman

Defense -- Ivan Baranka, Dan Girardi, Andrew Hutchinson, Darius Kasparaitis, David Liffiton, Marek Malik, Paul Mara, Thomas Pock, Michal Rozsival, Bobby Sanguinetti, Michael Sauer, Marc Staal, Jason Strudwick, and Fedor Tyutin.

Forwards -- Artem Anisimov, Sean Avery, Blair Betts, Dane Byers, Ryan Callahan, Nigel Dawes, Chris Drury, Brandon Dubinsky, Scott Gomez, Ryan Hollweg, Marcel Hossa, Jaromir Jagr, Hugh Jessiman, Lauri Korpikoski, Francis Lessard, Colton Orr, Petr Prucha, Tom Pyatt, Mark Smith, Martin Straka, and Brendan Shanahan.
