POST-GAME NOTES
Rangers 3, Atlanta Thrashers 5

Thursday, 10.18.2007 / 11:29 PM / News
FLA AT NYR
If the final 10:23 on Thursday night at Atlanta's Philips Arena had been the game's opening stretch instead of its ending, the Rangers probably would have coasted to two points in the standings. Unfortunately, a three-goal outburst by Dan Girardi, Brendan Shanahan and Scott Gomez toward the end of the third period came too late to salvage victory in a 5-3 loss to the Thrashers.

Recap

THREE STARS OF THE GAME
1. T. WHITE -- ATL
2. P. DUPUIS -- ATL
3. J. HEDBERG -- ATL
