NOTES
* The Rangers have earned at least one point in the standings from each of their last nine games against Boston.
* Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist stopped 19 shots in regulation and overtime and got credit for a shutout despite taking the loss in overtime. He has played in all seven of the Rangers' games this season.
* The Rangers had not played a 0-0 game through 65 minutes since Oct. 16, 2003, when they tied Atlanta 0-0 at home.
* Travis Roy, a former Boston University hockey player who became a quadriplegic after slamming into the boards 11 seconds into his first collegiate shift, dropped the ceremonial first puck between Boston's Zdeno Chara and the Rangers' Chris Drury. Roy and Drury were teammates at Boston University when Roy was a freshman and Drury was a sophomore.
