* Through Tuesday night, the Rangers had gone 181 minutes, 9 seconds without scoring an even-strength goal. All of the Rangers' goals in a 5-3 loss to Atlanta on Oct. 18 were on the power play.
* Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist stopped 21 shots, and has now allowed just one regulation-time goal in his last 133:41 of action. He has played in all eight of the Rangers' games this season.
* The Rangers were last shut out in back-to-back games when they fell 2-0 at the Islanders on Dec 26, 2006, and 1-0 at Ottawa on Dec. 29, 2006.
* The Rangers lost back-to-back 1-0 games for the first time in their 81-year history.
