GAME NOTES: Rangers vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

Tonight's Game
The Rangers face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.). At 7-7-1, the Blueshirts are currently in third place in the Atlantic Division and rank seventh in the Eastern Conference with 15 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having lost to the New York Islanders, 3-2, on Tuesday at Long Island, and will be playing in their fifth game in the last eight days. New York has registered at least one point in five of the last seven games, posting an 5-2-0 record over the span. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will begin a four-game road trip when they travel to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs on Saturday, Nov. 10. The Penguins, 7-7-1, are currently in fourth place in the Atlantic Division with 15 points and have lost two of three road games this month.

The Wolf Pack have lost back-to-back games for the first time on the season, after dropping a 2-1 decision at Manchester Sunday. The Pack had a three-game winning streak snapped Saturday night, by a 5-2 home defeat at the hands of the Toronto Marlies (Maple Leafs affiliate), following a 4-3 victory at home Friday over Worcester (San Jose affiliate).
