GAME NOTES: Rangers at Toronto Maple Leafs

Tonight's Game
The Rangers begin a four-game road trip tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre (7:00 p.m.). At 8-7-1, the Blueshirts are currently in second place in the Atlantic Division and rank fifth in the Eastern Conference with 17 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 4-2, on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden and have now won six of the last eight contests, surrendering only 11 goals during the stretch. The four-game road trip is the first of three New York will make this season, and is tied for their longest stretch away from The Garden during the 2007-08 campaign. The Maple Leafs, 7-7-3, are currently in third place in the Northeast Division with 17 points and have lost four of their last five games at home.
