New York Rangers
The Rangers face off against the New Jersey Devils tonight at the Prudential Center (7:00 p.m.) in the first of back-to-back road games. With a record of 9-7-1, the Blueshirts are currently in second place in the Atlantic Division and rank fifth in the Eastern Conference with 19 points. New York is 2-0-0 in the first of back-to-back contests this season, outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 5-1. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs, 3-2, in a shootout on Saturday night at the Air Canada Centre, notching their first road victory of the season. Following tonight's game, the Blueshirts will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Flyers tomorrow, November 15, at the Wachovia Center (7:00 p.m.). The Devils, 7-8-2, are currently in fourth place in the Atlantic Division with 16 points and have won
three of their last four games at home.
