Coat Drive set for next two home games

The Rangers and the Garden of Dreams Foundation will be conducting a children's coat drive prior to the Nov. 29 game against the Islanders, and the Dec. 3 game against Carolina. An earlier coat drive was held prior to the Nov. 25 game against Dallas.
Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently-used children's coats to The Garden for dropoff prior to each of these games. Collection bins will be set up in the mall area outside The Garden Box Office and on the terrace outside the Club Bar & Grill and Play-by-Play Restaurant.
At each game, fans who donate a coat will receive a commemorative Rangers magnet set.
All coats will be distributed to children by Rangers current players and alumni in their visits to Garden of Dreams partner community based organizations in December.
The Garden of Dreams Foundation is a non profit charity that works closely with all areas of Madison Square Garden, including the Rangers, Knicks, Liberty, MSG Media MSG Entertainment and fuse to "make dreams come true for kids in crisis".
Garden of Dreams partners with local children's hospitals, "wish" organizations and community-based organizations to build on-going, unforgettable programs for children in the tri-state area who are suffering from devastating illness, homelessness, abuse, hunger, extreme poverty and tragedy.
