GAME NOTES: Rangers at Boston Bruins

Today's Game
The Rangers face-off against the Boston Bruins in a matinee matchup at the TD Banknorth Garden (1:00 p.m.) in the first game of a home-and-home set. The Blueshirts are currently in fifth place in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 22-20-5, and rank ninth in the Eastern Conference with 49 points. New York enters the contest having defeated the Sabres, 2-1, on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden and have now won two of their last three contests. The Rangers are 4-3-0 in the first game of back-to-back sets this season. Following today's contest, the Rangers will return home to complete their home-and-home set against the Bruins at Madison Square Garden, tomorrow, January 20 (12:30 p.m.). The game will be nationally televised on NBC. The Bruins, 22-18-5, are currently in third place in the Northeast Division with 49 points and have lost three of their last four games.
