Game Notes: Rangers at Philadelphia Flyers

Tonight's Game
The Rangers face-off against their division rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers, tonight at the Wachovia Center (7:00 p.m.) in the first game of back-to-back road contests. The Blueshirts are currently tied for fourth place in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 24-22-6, and rank ninth in the Eastern Conference with 54 points. New York enters the contest having been defeated by the Hurricanes, 3-1, on Tuesday at the RBC Center and have now earned at least one point in five of their last eight contests (4-3-1). The Rangers have posted a record of 4-3-1 in the first game of back-to-back sets. Following today's contest, the Rangers will travel to New Jersey tomorrow, February 1, to take on the Devils at the Prudential Center (7:00 p.m.). The Flyers, 28-16-5, currently sit atop the Atlantic Division standings with 61 points and have won 12 of their last 15 games.
