The New York Peewee Rangers have announced the roster headed to the 2008 Quebec International Peewee Hockey Tournament.
Selected by head coach Doug Messier and assistant coach Mark Messier, the team is comprised of players that reside in the New York Tri-State area.
Players are selected based upon their skill as a hockey player, their dedication to the sport, and their exemplary off-ice conduct. The objective of the team is to provide such deserving players an opportunity to play with and against other equally talented players, and to experience the culture and competition that makes the Quebec Tournament the "Olympics of Peewee hockey."
Rangers such as Wayne Gretzky, Adam Graves, Brendan Shanahan and Ryan Hollweg have all participated in this tournament.

The New York Peewee Rangers operate primarily to participate in the annual Quebec International Peewee Hockey Tournament that is held each February in Quebec City. In addition to the team's participation in the Quebec tournament, they play a series of exhibition games between other NHL team-sponsored squads and in the Bell Challenge Cup in Toronto. The New York Rangers PeeWee Hockey Club is independently operated and not directly managed by the Rangers front office.
