The Rangers face-off against the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at the RBC Center (7:00 p.m.). The Blueshirts are currently in third place in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 32-24-8, and rank seventh in the Eastern Conference with 72 points. New York enters the contest having defeated the Panthers, 5-0, Sunday at Madison Square Garden and have now earned at least one point in seven straight contests (5-0-2). The Rangers are 10-3-2 in their last 15 contests dating back to a 4-0 win on January 22 vs. Atlanta. Following today's match, the Rangers will return home to face-off against the Philadelphia Flyers, Sunday, March 2, at Madison Square Garden (12:30 p.m.). The Hurricanes, 33-28-5, are currently in first place in the Southeast Division standings with 71 points and have won their last three games. Today's game will mark the fourth and final meeting this season.
