The Wolf Pack dropped a 2-1 Atlantic-Division decision to the Manchester Monarchs (Los Angeles affiliate) at home last night. The Pack have won only three of their last seven games (3-3-0-1), but have at least a standings point in 16 of their last 19 outings (12-3-2-2).  The Wolf Pack are on the road today (4:05), facing the team directly behind them in the Atlantic, the Portland Pirates (Anaheim affiliate).  After that, Ken Gernander’s club is off until Friday (8:35), when they start a two-game Texas road trip in Houston (Minnesota affiliate).

Individual highlights of the Pack's recent games included:

Andrew Hutchinson became the first Wolf Pack defenseman ever to register a five-point game, tied Wolf Pack franchise record for goals in a season by a defenseman with his 15th, and established AHL career high in assists, when he notched 1-4-5 in First-Star performance in Friday night’s 6-2 triumph vs. Norfolk. Hutchinson leads all AHL defensemen in points (53) and has points in seven of his last eight games (6-9-15) and 10 of his last 12 (7-13-20).

Lauri Korpikoski registered his second two-goal game in the span of three contests Friday vs. Norfolk.  Had the first three-game goal-scoring streak (5-0-5) of his AHL career snapped on Saturday night at home against Manchester.

David LeNeveu turned in Second-Star performance in his Wolf Pack debut on Saturday night, stopping 30 of 32 shots in the Pack’s 2-1 home loss to Manchester.

P.A. Parenteau stands fourth in the AHL in points (61), after posting at least a point in seven of his last nine games (6-7-13).

Corey Potter is tied for the AHL lead in plus/minus among defensemen, at a plus-26, and stands tied for second overall in the league in that category.
