Highlights from Hartford
Follow the progress of the Rangers' top prospects:

The Wolf Pack snapped a season-high streak of three straight regulation losses last night with a 2-1 win at San Antonio (Phoenix affiliate). That completed a two-game Texas road trip, after the Pack dropped a 1-0 decision in Houston (Minnesota affiliate) on Friday night. The shutout at the hands of the Aeros was the second straight that the Wolf Pack absorbed, having lost 3-0 at Portland (Anaheim affiliate) last Sunday, the fourth time in franchise history that the team has been blanked in back-to-back games. The Pack has won only four of its last 10 outings (4-5-0-1), but has suffered only five regulation losses in its last 22 (13-5-2-2). The Wolf Pack and San Antonio have a rematch this Friday night in Hartford (7:00), before the Pack entertain divisional-rival Manchester (Los Angeles affiliate) on Saturday (7:00).  The Wolf Pack complete a three-game weekend at Worcester (San Jose affiliate) Sunday (4:05).

Individual highlights of the Pack's recent games included:

Brodie Dupont scored the first goal of Saturday night’s 2-1 triumph in San Antonio at 10:32 of the second period, to snap a Wolf Pack scoreless streak of 192:28, just under 13 minutes shy of the franchise record of 205:21.

Josh Gratton's first point in five games with the Wolf Pack was the third-period GWG on Saturday night against his old team, the San Antonio Rampage, earning him First-Star honors in the Wolf Pack’s 2-1 win.

Andrew Hutchinson leads AHL defensemen in points (53, six more than the next highest-scoring league blueliner) despite missing the last two games, and is tied for the league lead in assists among defenders. He has points in seven of his last nine games (6-9-15) and 10 of his last 13 (7-13-20).

David LeNeveu arned his first win in three starts in a Wolf Pack uniform on Saturday night, defeating his ex-San Antonio Rampage teammates and outdueling former Wolf Pack goaltender Al Montoya, with 31 saves in a Second-Star performance (2-1 win).  He was named game’s Second Star in his Wolf Pack debut last Saturday night vs. Manchester, with 30 saves in a 2-1 home loss.

Corey Potter ranks second in plus/minus among AHL defensemen, at a +25, and stands third overall in the league in that category.
