The Rangers face-off against the Florida Panthers today at the BankAtlantic Center (7:30 p.m.) in the first game of a back-to-back road set. The Blueshirts are currently in third place in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 37-24-9, and rank sixth in the Eastern Conference with 83 points. New York enters the contest having defeated the Sabres, 3-2, in a shootout on Monday at HSBC Arena and have now earned at least one point in 13 straight contests (10-0-3). The Rangers are 15-3-3 in their last 21 contests dating back to a 4-0 win on January 22 vs. Atlanta. Following today's match, the Rangers will travel to Tampa Bay to face-off against the Lightning, tomorrow, March 15, at the St. Pete Times Forum (7:30 p.m.) in the second game of the back-to-back road set. The Panthers, 33-31-8, are currently tied for second place in the Southeast Division standings with 74 points and have won five straight games. Tonight's game will mark the fourth and final meeting this season.
