New York Rangers
The Rangers face-off against the New York Islanders, today, at Nassau Coliseum (7:00 p.m.) in the first game of a home-and-home set. The Blueshirts are currently in third place in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 41-27-11, and rank fifth in the Eastern Conference with 93 points. The Rangers enter the contest having defeated the Penguins, 2-1, in overtime on Monday at Madison Square Garden and are now 14-3-5 in their last 22 games. The Blueshirts are 10-5-1 in the first game of back-to-back sets this season. Following today's match, the Rangers will return home to face-off against the Islanders, tomorrow, April 4, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.) in the second game of their home-and-home set. The Islanders, 34-37-9, are currently in fifth place in the Atlantic Division standings with 77 points and have lost four of their last five games.
