2008 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS ROUND 2, GAME 2
The Rangers face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins today at Mellon Arena in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Semifinals (2:00 PM). On Friday, the Rangers suffered their first road defeat of the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs, losing to the Penguins, 5-4, in Game One. New York enters today's game with a 193-205-8 all-time record in its previous 406 playoff contests, including an 86-126-6 mark on the road. The Rangers have posted a 44-44-2 record all-time in Game Two's of postseason series, including a 26-29-3 mark away from MSG. After losing Game One, the Blueshirts' all-time record in Game Two is 21-23-1. In the Conference Quarterfinals, the Rangers eliminated the Devils in five games, marking the second consecutive season the Blueshirts advanced to the Conference Semifinals.
