Today's Game
The Rangers face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins this afternoon in Game Five of the Eastern Conference Semifinals (2:00 PM) at Mellon Arena. On Thursday, the Rangers defeated the Penguins, 3-0, in Game Four at Madison Square Garden and now trail the best-of-seven series three games to one. New York enters tonight's game with a 194-207-8 all-time record in its previous 409 playoff contests, including an 86-127-6 mark on the road. The Rangers have posted a 23-28 record all-time in Game Five of postseason series, including a 17-21 mark at MSG. In the Conference Quarterfinals, the Rangers eliminated the Devils in five games, marking the second consecutive season the Blueshirts advanced to the Conference Semifinals.
