Race for the Cure 2008-2009
Rangers support annual fundraiser
On Sunday, September 14 for the third year, New York Rangers joined forces to support the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Rangers Executives and coaches wives were once again on hand to continue the annual tradition, including Ann Sather, Theresa Schoenfeld, Kim Pelino and Lyne Chalut-Allaire.
"Being a part of this event each year is important for the Rangers, it is a simple way to give back to the community, while helping a worthy cause," says Ann Sather.
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is the world's largest and most well known grassroots network of survivors and activists. It continues to hold the honor of being the only organization fighting to cure breast cancer at every stage. This year's team of participants, known as the Rangers Roadies, raised almost $2,000 for the organization.
