Rangers, Garden of Dreams team up with community ice arenas

The Rangers and the Garden of Dreams Foundation have teamed up with a number of community ice arenas to help keep New York's children warm this winter.
The Rangers and Garden of Dreams will be conducting a children's coat drive in November at Madison Square Garden and various community ice arenas.
Rangers fans attending games on November 15th, November 17th, and November 19th are encouraged to bring new or gently-used children's coats to The Garden for drop-off. At each corresponding game, fans who donate a coat will receive a commemorative item. Collection bins will be set up in the mall area outside The Garden box office and on the terrace outside the Club Bar & Grill and Play-by-Play Restaurant.
For those not able to attend the games at Madison Square Garden, coat collection will also take place at select community ice arenas from November 15th to December 1st. For a list of local rinks that will each have collection bins, click here.*
All collected coats will be donated to Garden of Dreams charity partners by Rangers current players and alumni in December. To see stories and/or photos from last season's coat deliveries, click here.
The Garden of Dreams Foundation is a non profit charity that works closely with all areas of Madison Square Garden, including the Rangers, Knicks, Liberty, MSG Media, MSG Entertainment and Fuse to "make dreams come true for kids in crisis". Garden of Dreams partners with local children's hospitals, "wish" organizations and community-based organizations to build on-going, unforgettable programs for children in the tri-state area who are suffering from devastating illness, homelessness, abuse, hunger, extreme poverty and tragedy.
