On Friday, November 7th New York Rangers great, Adam Graves visited with children at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center. On behalf of the New York Rangers and Garden of Dreams Foundation, Graves signed autographs, posed for pictures, handed out goodies and even played hockey with children in the "Mark Messier Skyway."

Adam Graves has been one of the most active Rangers alumni in the community, making dreams come true across the Metro area.
The "Mark Messier Skyway" is an area where children can relax and play during their stay at the Medical Center. Complete with interactive videos, games and memorabilia, the skyway is a hockey fantasyland for kids.

Graves, whose jersey will be retired by the Rangers in a special ceremony on February 3rd, began the special visit by greeting a group of children in the Messier Skyway. He addressed each of the kids individually, as well as each of their family members, signed autographs, took pictures and distributed Rangers and Garden of Dreams gift bags.

Before leaving the skyway, Graves made sure to join the children in the miniature hockey rink to have a little fun.

"This is always enjoyable for me," stated Graves. "To be able to meet so many incredible children is a real privilege. I just hope that I was able to brighten their day by being here."

After the kids tired him out playing hockey, Graves went room to room, making sure to see each of the children who were not able to meet with him in the skyway. At the rooms, he stopped in to wish them well, leaving plenty of goodies with the kids and their families.
