Game Notes: Rangers at New Jersey Devils

Tonight's Game
The Rangers face-off against the New Jersey Devils tonight at the Prudential Center (7:00 p.m.) in the first game of a back-to-back set. The Blueshirts currently sit atop the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 19-10-2, and rank second in the Eastern Conference with 40 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Thrashers, 3-2, in overtime on Wednesday at Philips Arena, and have won five of their last eight games. Following tonight's match, the Rangers will return home to face-off against the Carolina Hurricanes, tomorrow, December 13, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in the second game of a back-to-back set. The Devils, 15-8-2, currently rank seventh in the Eastern Conference standings with 32 points, and have won eight of their last nine games.
