Game Notes: Rangers at N.Y. Islanders

Tonight's Game
The Rangers face-off against the New York Islanders tonight at Nassau Coliseum (7:00 p.m.), in the third game of a five-game road trip. The Blueshirts currently rank second in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 25-15-4, and fifth in the Eastern Conference with 54 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Senators, 2-0, on Saturday at Scotiabank Place, and have recorded at least one point in three of their last four games (2-1-1). Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will travel to Chicago to face-off against the Blackhawks on Friday, January 16, at United Center (8:30 p.m.). The Islanders, 12-26-4, currently rank 15th in the Eastern Conference standings with 28 points, and have lost their last four games.
