Game Notes: Rangers at Chicago Blackhawks
The Rangers face-off against the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at the United Center (8:30 p.m.), in the fourth game of a five-game road trip. The Blueshirts currently sit atop the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 26-15-4, and rank third in the Eastern Conference with 56 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Islanders, 2-1, on Tuesday at Nassau Coliseum, and have recorded at least one point in four of their last five games (3-1-1). Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will travel to Pittsburgh to face-off against the Penguins on Sunday, January 18, at Mellon Arena (12:30 p.m.), in the final game of their five-game road trip. The Blackhawks, 24-10-7, currently rank fourth in the Western Conference standings with 55 points, and have won four of their last six games.
