15th Annual Skate with the Greats
On Tuesday, February 10, the New York Rangers and the Ronald McDonald House of New York held its Annual Skate with the Greats Event at Rockefeller Center.

Skate with the Greats returned to its original format after last year's event honored Brian Leetch for his involvement with the House over the years and celebrated his jersey retirement with a number of his former teammates on hand.
Fans at this year's event had the chance to skate and mingle with current Rangers players Brandon Dubinsky, Lauri Korpikoski, Paul Mara, and Aaron Voros as well as former players Rod Gilbert, Ron Duguay, Pete Stemkowski and Gilles Villemure. The evening also included dinner, auctions and autographs.
"It's a real privilege to be here helping the Ronald McDonald House," said Dubinsky. "Anytime you can lend a hand as an athlete, it feels great. I have a great deal of respect for the children at Ronald McDonald House and wish nothing but the best for them."
Since 1994, the "Skate with the Greats" event has successfully raised over $6 million for the Ronald McDonald House of New York, whose mission is to provide a home away from home for children undergoing active treatment.
"I'm thrilled to see how much support Rangers fans have provided this year," stated Gilbert. "Given the state of our economy, this turnout speaks volumes about the fans of the team and those that have been able to contribute to the event."
The Ronald McDonald House of New York is supported in part by the Rangers and a partnership with the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charity that works closely with the Rangers and all areas of Madison Square Garden to "make dreams come true for kids in crisis."
