The Rangers face-off against the Washington Capitals today at Madison Square Garden in Game Six of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals (2:00 p.m.). On Friday, the Rangers were defeated by the Capitals, 4-0, in Game Five, and now hold a 3-2 series lead. New York enters tonight's game with a 197-210-8 all-time record in its previous 415 playoff contests, including a 109-81-2 mark at home. The Rangers have posted a 13-16 record all-time in the sixth game of a post-season series, and are 9-3 when Game Six is a potential series clincher for the Blueshirts.

The Wolf Pack saw their season come to an end on Saturday night, with a 5-3 loss at Worcester (San Jose affiliate) in Game Six of their Atlantic Division Semifinal series. The Sharks came back to win four straight games in the series, after the Wolf pack had captured the first two. Worcester had posted a 3-1 win in Game Five in Hartford Thursday, one night after thumping the Wolf Pack, 6-1, Wednesday night in Worcester in Game Four. Game Three produced a 3-2, double-overtime win for the Sharks at home, after the Pack had defended their home ice with a 5-3 triumph in Game Two and a 2-0 shutout in Game One.
