Rangers Daily Prospect Update -- Aug. 6

David Kveton, the Rangers' fourth-round pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, scored a goal on Thursday, but it wasn't enough for his Trinec team, which fell to Vitkovice 4-3 in a shootout in the Czech Republic's preseason Tipsport Hockey Cup tournament. In another Tipsort Cup game, Zdenek Bahensky went up against his former Litvinov teammates and had a third-period assist in Mlada Boleslav's 5-4 loss. Bahensky has now had at least one point in all four of his preseason games.
