Rangers Daily Prospect Update -- Aug. 14

Zdenek Bahenksy, a 2004 third-round draft pick whose NHL rights remain with the Rangers, continued his hot preseason on Friday, scoring a goal in Mlada Boleslav's 4-2 victory over host Liberec in Czech Republic Tipsport Cup action. Bahensky tallied a shorthanded goal at 1:32 of the second period, stretching his preseason scoring streak to six games. He now has four goals and three assists in that span. Also on Friday, Slovak prospect David Skokan and his Slovan Bratislava teammates remained unbeated in four preseason games with a 2-0 win over Znojmo.
