Rangers draftee David Skokan, a 2007 seventh-round pick whose NHL rights are owned by the Blueshirts, and his Bratislava teammates captured the championship of Slovakia's Cassovia Cup on Thursday in Kosice, crushing Trencin 6-1. Skokan scored the game's first goal at 3:13 of the opening period, setting the stage for a Bratislava rout. The Cup winners dominated the round-robin tournament, outscoring their three opponents by a combined 16-3 margin.
