Rangers Daily Prospect Update -- Sept. 3

Ryan Bourque, who will be part of the Rangers team at next week's Traverse City Prospects Tournament, continued his red-hot QMJHL preseason on Thursday with a goal and assist in the Quebec Remparts' 5-2 win at Victoriaville.

The son of Hockey Hall of Famer Ray Bourque, Ryan was the Rangers' third-round pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He now has four goals and seven points in his first four major-junior preseason games.

Bourque started his big night on Thursday with an assist on Dmitry Kugryshev's goal at 12:46 of the second period, giving the Remparts a 2-1 lead. He followed that up just over three minutes later with his first goal -- the game-winner -- to give the Remparts a 3-1 advantage.
