Rangers Daily Prospect Update -- Sept. 5

Rangers prospect Chris Doyle, a 2008 fifth-round draft pick, saw his QMJHL preseason scoring streak end at four games on Saturday night, as the Prince Edward Island Rocket fell 5-2 at Moncton, New Brunswick.

Doyle's evening ended early. After taking a minor penalty at 11:06 of the second, he returned to the ice and was whistled for a match penalty at 13:49.

Despite playing only 34 minutes, Doyle still led the Rocket with five of his team's 25 shots on goal.
