Tonight's Game
The Rangers face-off against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at Air Canada Centre (7:00 p.m.), in an Original Six matchup. The Blueshirts currently rank first in the Atlantic Division standings, and first in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 6-1-0 (12 pts.). New York enter tonight's contest having defeated Los Angeles, 4-2, Wednesday at Madison Square Garden to extend their winning streak to six games, their longest since they won seven straight during the 2005-06 season (Feb. 1 - Mar. 2). Toronto enters the contest with a 0-5-1 (one pt.) record, and rank 15th in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will return home to faceoff against the San Jose Sharks on Monday, Oct. 19, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.).
