Tonight's Game
The Rangers face-off against the New York Islanders tonight at Nassau Coliseum (7:00 p.m.), in an Atlantic Division matchup. The Blueshirts currently rank second in the Atlantic Division standings, and fourth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 8-3-1 (17 pts.). New York enter tonight's contest having defeated Phoenix, 5-2, on Monday at Madison Square Garden to improve to 13-3-0 in their last 16 regular season contests at MSG dating back to last season. NY Islanders enter the contest with a 1-4-5 (seven pts.) record, and rank 13th in the Eastern Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will travel to Minnesota to face-off against the Wild on Friday, Oct. 30, at Xcel Energy Center (8:00 p.m.).
