Tonight's Game
The Rangers face-off against the Vancouver Canucks tonight at General Motors Place (10:00 p.m.), in the first game of a three-game Western Canadian road trip. The Blueshirts currently rank second in the Atlantic Division standings, and fourth in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 9-5-1 (19 pts.). New York enter today's contest having defeated Boston, 1-0, on Sunday at Madison Square Garden to improve to 14-3-0 in their last 17 regular season games at MSG dating back to last season. Vancouver enter the contest with an 8-7-0 (16 pts.) record, and rank seventh in the Western Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will travel to Edmonton to face-off against the Oilers on Thursday, Nov. 5, at Rexall Place (9:30 p.m.), before concluding their road trip on Saturday, Oct. 7, at Calgary (10:00 p.m.).
