Highlights from Hartford

Follow the progress of the Rangers' top prospects:

The Wolf Pack had a season-high four-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday night, when they dropped a 2-1 decision on the road to Atlantic Division-leading Manchester (Los Angeles affiliate). The Wolf Pack led 1-0 going into the third period, but the Monarchs scored twice in a span of 2:27 early in the third to turn the game around. That was after the Pack had swept a pair of away games over the weekend, winning 5-3 in Providence (Boston affiliate) on Friday and 4-1 at Bridgeport (Islanders affiliate) Saturday.  Ken Gernander’s team now stands at 8-7-0-0 for 16 points, and will get another crack at Manchester on Friday night (7:00) at the XL Center, in the completion of a home-and-home set.  After that the Wolf Pack will travel to Worcester (San Jose affiliate) Saturday evening (7:05).
