Tonight’s Game

The Rangers face-off against the Chicago Blackhawks tonight at the United Center (8:30 p.m.), in an Original Six matchup. The Blueshirts currently rank fourth in the Atlantic Division standings, and 11th in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 14-14-1 (29 pts.). New York enter tonight's contest having been defeated by Detroit, 3-1, Sunday at Madison Square Garden to drop their record to 34-17-9 (77 pts.) against Original Six teams since 2005-06. Chicago enter the contest with an 18-7-3 (39 pts.) record, and rank third in the Western Conference. Following tonight's game, the Rangers will face-off against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in their second meeting in eight days.
