Graves brings Rangers cheer to Long Island
Blueshirts legend pays special visit to Cohen Children's Medical Center
|Rangers great Adam Graves visited pediatric patients and delivered gift bags to children at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York on Nov. 17.|
Children gathered in the main playroom at Cohen’s and awaited his arrival. Graves greeted the children spending a few minutes with each of them before answering some questions, chatting with the patients and enjoying the finer parts of the playroom.
"It’s not every day that we get the chance to come out to Long Island," said Graves, "This is my first time at the facility and it’s great to take some time and brighten the days of the youth here. They are all terrific kids in great care here and will go on to do something special."
Graves continued interacting with the children in the playroom, taking photos, signing autographs and handing out Rangers gift bags. Before heading back to the city, Graves visited several pediatric patients and delivered gift bags to the children at their beds.
