Graves brings Rangers cheer to Long Island
Adam Graves, the heart of the Rangers organization as his retirement night and his countless personal acts has anointed him, has touched the lives of many in the tri-state area throughout his playing career and in his current role in the Rangers organization.

Rangers great Adam Graves visited pediatric patients and delivered gift bags to children at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York on Nov. 17.
On November 17, Graves made a trip to Long Island to visit children at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, a partner of the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

Children gathered in the main playroom at Cohen’s and awaited his arrival.  Graves greeted the children spending a few minutes with each of them before answering some questions, chatting with the patients and enjoying the finer parts of the playroom.

"It’s not every day that we get the chance to come out to Long Island," said Graves, "This is my first time at the facility and it’s great to take some time and brighten the days of the youth here. They are all terrific kids in great care here and will go on to do something special."

Graves continued interacting with the children in the playroom, taking photos, signing autographs and handing out Rangers gift bags.  Before heading back to the city, Graves visited several pediatric patients and delivered gift bags to the children at their beds.

The Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York is dedicated to providing the highest level of care that addresses the special needs of children - from premature babies to adolescents. From specialists who cover the entire range of pediatric health concerns to the hospital’s warm and bright environment, the Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York has become a destination hospital for children across the United States and around the world.
