The Rangers will continue a three-game road trip when they face-off against the Detroit Red Wings tonight at Joe Louis Arena (7:30 p.m.), in an Original Six match-up. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and seventh in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 29-22-4 (62 pts). The Rangers enter tonight's contest having been defeated by the Montreal Canadiens, 2-0, on Saturday at Bell Centre, and are now 4-3-0 in their last seven road games. New York has registered a point in 25 of their last 40 games (22-15-3). The Red Wings enter the contest with a 31-15-6 (68 pts) record to rank second in the Western Conference, and have lost each of their last two games. Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will face-off against the Atlanta Thrashers on Friday, Feb. 11, at Philips Arena (7:30 p.m.), to conclude their three-game road trip.
