The Rangers will face-off against the Ottawa Senators tonight at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), to conclude their two-game homestand. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and seventh in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 40-30-4 (84 pts). The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Florida Panthers, 1-0, on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden to extend their season-high winning streak to five games, and are now 7-1-0 in their last eight contests. The five-game winning streak is the longest for New York since they won seven in a row last season from Oct. 3 to Oct. 17. The Senators enter the contest with a 27-37-9 (63 pts) record to rank 15th in the Eastern Conference, and have won five of their last eight games. Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will face-off against the Boston Bruins in an Original Six match-up on Saturday, Mar. 26, at TD Garden (1:00 p.m.), to begin a four-game road trip.
