On March 29, the Rangers and Garden of Dreams partnered with SCO Family of Services to conduct a special floor hockey clinic for 30 children led by Ron Duguay.

The clinic, which was held at MS 35 in Brooklyn, was part of an on-going program that introduces children of Garden of Dreams’ partner organizations to the game of hockey.

After going over the event’s agenda with the kids and answering various questions about his hockey career, Duguay split the youngsters into two groups. While one half participated in introductory hockey drills and an organized scrimmage, the other half enjoyed taking turns at the Rangers inflatable slap shot booth.

Once both groups had an opportunity to participate in each of the activities, Duguay ensured that each child received special goodies courtesy of the Rangers and Garden of Dreams, including an autographed photo card, a gift bag and their very own Rangers jersey!
