Youngsters wish Rangers luck with cards

As their way of saying thank you to the Rangers and encouraging the team for their game the next day, children from Harlem Dowling spent the afternoon of April 19 making cards for the Rangers players.

Rangers legend Adam Graves poses with youngsters displaying the signs they made on April 19 to show their support for the Blueshirts' 2011 postseason run.

Joined by legend Adam Graves, the kids gathered in a conference room to create special good luck cards and inspirational messages for the players as the Blueshirts prepared to face off against the Washington Capitals in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on April 20. The group of children, who enjoyed pizza and snacks as they made the cards, hoped that their creativity could help inspire the team to victory the next evening at MSG.

Despite the Rangers falling to the Capitals, 4-3, in double overtime the following day, there is no doubt that the team appreciated the kind gesture from the kids of Harlem Dowling.
