The New York Rangers will continue an 18-year tradition this season with its annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive.
Partnering with the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, the New York Rangers will collect toys for needy children in the tri-state area.
On Tuesday, December 6th, the Rangers will host the annual Toy collection at Madison Square Garden in the Theater Lobby from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.. Adam Graves and several current Rangers players will be on hand to provide autograph and photo opportunities for fans who donate toys to the cause.
Fans are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, in exchange each person that brings a toy to MSG will receive an autograph.
In addition to the toy collection, fans can enjoy a fun-filled evening of Rangers activities including face painting, caricaturists, Santa and more, all while helping a great cause. Toy donation is required for admission.
The annual Toys for Tots drive has such a impact on the tri-state area, as well as the Rangers organization; because it allows the team and the fans to join forces and give back to the community, serving children in need.
Last year the Rangers collected over 1,500 toys for children in need because of the organization’s dedicated and compassionate fans.
