Casino Night Online Auction continues
Bid on amazing items to help make dreams come true for local youngsters
On Tuesday, February 28, the New York Rangers held the annual full-team Casino Night fundraiser to benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation. This annual fundraising event is a perennial fan favorite and features the entire New York Rangers team, coaching and hockey operations staff, Rod Gilbert, Adam Graves, and Mark Messier. In conjunction with Casino Night, the Rangers will be offering an online auction of rare and commemorative jerseys and other memorabilia for additional support of the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
Fans will have the chance to bid on select jerseys including team signed 2012 Team Alfredsson NHL All-Star Jerseys and a framed Brian Leetch autographed jersey, and other unique memorabilia. This will be the only opportunity for you to get these one of a kind items so don’t wait. Online bidding began on March 16, 2012 at 9:00 AM EST and will continue until March 30, 2012 at 5:00 PM EST.
The Garden of Dreams Foundation works closely with the Rangers and all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company to make dreams come true for kids facing obstacles. In partnership with local children’s hospitals, wish organizations and community based organizations, Garden of Dreams is conducting unforgettable events and experiences to brighten the lives of children facing problems.
With Henrik Lundqvist the official spokesperson of the Foundation, the Rangers and Garden of Dreams are creating on-going programs and events targeting the Garden of Dreams community, including hosting children at numerous Rangers games, conducting a children’s coat drive, providing street hockey instruction for children, visiting children in hospitals and community organizations, conducting special experiences for children at NYC landmarks, and much more.
All net proceeds from this online auction will benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
