Foundation receives award for heroic impact on thousands of children
The Garden of Dreams Foundation, which works with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company to make dreams come true for children facing obstacles, was honored by SCO Family of Services at its annual Shepherd’s Ball on Friday, November 16. The Foundation was recognized for the significant and lasting contributions it has made in the lives of thousands of children and families involved with SCO Family of Services, since Garden of Dreams was first established in 2006.
Hank Ratner, chairman of the Garden of Dreams Foundation and president and chief executive officer of The Madison Square Garden Company, accepted the award at the event. Also in attendance were New York Knicks greats, John Starks and Larry Johnson and New York Rangers legends, Rod Gilbert and Adam Graves.
“We are extremely proud that Garden of Dreams has received this important honor from SCO Family of Services, one of New York’s most well-regarded and long-standing charities, and one of the Foundation’s original partners,” said Mr. Ratner. “Garden of Dreams is committed to using the power and magic associated with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company to brighten the lives of extraordinary children, and we have been privileged to work with SCO Family of Services to bring joy and happiness to children in their care.”
