19th Annual Toy Drive to be held Dec. 6
Graves, Leetch, and other Blueshirts legends scheduled to attend
The New York Rangers will continue a 19-year tradition this season with their annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Partnering with the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, the New York Rangers will collect toys for needy children in the tri-state area.
|Fans of all ages have the opportunity to meet and receive an autograph from Rangers greats such as Adam Graves at the Holiday Toy Drive on Dec. 6.|
On Thursday, December 6th, the Rangers will host their annual Toy collection in the Theater Lobby at MSG from 5-7pm. Rangers’ legends Adam Graves, Brian Leetch, Rod Gilbert, Jeff Beukeboom, and Ron Greschner will be on hand to sign autographs for fans as they donate toys to this worthy cause. Rangers broadcasters Sam Rosen and Joe Micheletti of MSG Network will also be at the Toy Drive to greet and thank fans attending the event.
Fans must bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots for entry to the event, and in exchange will receive an autograph from a Rangers Legend.
In addition to the toy collection, fans that donate will have an opportunity to participate in various Rangers activities including hockey skills stations, face painting, caricaturists, balloon sculptors, Santa and more!
The Theater Lobby at MSG entrance is located on Seventh Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets, the same as the Madison Square Garden main entrance.
The annual Toys for Tots drive has such an impact on the tri-state area, as well as the Rangers organization; because it allows the Rangers organization and the fans to join forces and give back to the community, serving children in need. This year the drive is even more important because the aftermath of Sandy has left many families without the means to provide holiday gifts for their children.
In the last five years almost 9,000 toys have been donated to children in need thanks to the organization’s dedicated and compassionate fans.
Calling all Rangers fans to come out and support the New York Rangers and the US Marines Corps in this annual tradition!
