Pregame Notes: Rangers at Pittsburgh
The Rangers face-off against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at CONSOL Energy Center (7:00 p.m.), to complete their home-and-home set. The Blueshirts currently rank second in the Atlantic Division standings, and rank seventh in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 18-15-3 (39 pts).

The Rangers face-off against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at CONSOL Energy Center (7:00 p.m.), to complete their home-and-home set. The Blueshirts currently rank second in the Atlantic Division standings, and rank seventh in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 18-15-3 (39 pts). The Rangers enter the contest having defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 6-1, on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden, and have won their last two games. New York has now registered a point in seven of their last nine home games (6-2-1). The Penguins enter the contest with a 28-10-0 (56 pts) record to rank first in the Eastern Conference, and have lost their last two games. Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will return to action when they face-off against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday at RBC Center (7:00 p.m.), in the second game of a back-to-back road set.
